SIGH! I just don't want to recompile hundreds of working programs.ĭAMN PYTHON TO HELL. PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="python3_7" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7 python3_7 python3_8 python3_9 pyp圓" Haven't tried logging in as root, only sudo: My output from your equery is identical to yours (but for the timestamps) if that helps. Are you running a PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="python3_9" system? Normally I'd wonder about that, however if it's working as root then I guess it must be a permissions issue. I notice mine's running on python 3.8.8 though. I take it from your question that it's working for you as root, but not as a normal user? I didn't make any changes to group memberships for myself: I use playonlinux for MS Office applications and it just works. Gentoo Forums Forum Index Unsupported Software YMMV.Gentoo Forums :: View topic - playonlinux fails to launch The only real difference I anycodings_macos could see is that with Wineskin the anycodings_macos configuration app is actually part of anycodings_macos the package whereas in Winebottler you anycodings_macos have to recreate the package each time anycodings_macos you make a change. Winebottler again makes an app like anycodings_macos Wineskin.
On the plus side, Playonmac anycodings_macos will chose all the right settings for anycodings_macos you to run the app correctly, the anycodings_macos correct windows and wine version etc anycodings_macos which is something you need to fiddle anycodings_macos with with with Wineskin. You can create a anycodings_macos shortcut for it in your Applications anycodings_macos folder but this will launch Playonmac anycodings_macos and the app needs to be installed inside anycodings_macos Playonmac. The only reason I prefer Wineskin anycodings_macos is that it does not create a true self anycodings_macos contained HeidiSQL.app.
You just select anycodings_macos HeidiSQL from the list of programs and anycodings_macos it will download everything you need for anycodings_macos you. It has HeidiSQL listed on its anycodings_macos website as compatible and its almost a anycodings_macos single click install. Playonmac on the other hand is very user anycodings_macos friendly. Noteworthy is that you need to anycodings_macos change the windows version to XP rather anycodings_macos than 7 or some buttons won't work. You need to read anycodings_macos the instructions (which are very good) anycodings_macos and you have choices to make as to the anycodings_macos wine version to use and to configure the anycodings_macos app. anycodings_macos Personally this is the neatest solution anycodings_macos and my preferred even though there its a anycodings_macos little more technical than Playonmac and anycodings_macos similar to Winebottler.
It then creates a anycodings_macos HeidiSQL.app (any name you want with any anycodings_macos icon you want - but you need to anycodings_macos configure it) around the windows.exe anycodings_macos that includes the wine version selected anycodings_macos and is completely self contained (does anycodings_macos not need wine installed separately).
Wineskin is a mac app that download and anycodings_macos install (and manages, updates, etc) anycodings_macos "wine" for you. Wineskin anycodings_macos (), anycodings_macos Playonmac () anycodings_macos and Winebottler I am putting my anycodings_macos findings down here for it may help anycodings_macos someone: I know this thread is a little old but I anycodings_macos was just looking for something like this anycodings_macos to launch HeidiSQL and I came up with anycodings_macos these three solutions which I have tried anycodings_macos and all of them work.
